100 ways I could nurture myself

Seems I need this… I’ve been in dark, wintry, sleepy, depressed hibernation mode lately.

  1. Meditate.
  2. Call good friends.
  3. Really share myself with friends.
  4. Take a long, hot bath.
  5. Go to the sauna.
  6. Do some fun exercise like racquetball or swimming.
  7. Pet the kitties.
  8. Go for a long walk.
  9. Take leisurely photographs, without worry about the outcome.
  10. Do Soul Collage. So nurturing!
  11. Look at the Soul Collage cards I’ve already made
  12. Buy myself some jewelry.
  13. Read a funny, heartwarming novel, such as The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency.
  14. Hug a teddy bear.
  15. Fondle yarn.
  16. Look at cuteoverload.com
  17. Play with legos.
  18. Play with crayons.
  19. Play with stickers and glitter and glue and colorful paper!
  20. Look at The Blue Day Book.
  21. Listen to Songs for the Inner Child CD.
  22. Call a friend.
  23. Chanting.
  24. Look at my altar, thinking about each item in it.
  25. Bake cookies. Eat some dough!
  26. Bake bread or muffins.
  27. Cook soup or stew.
  28. Go to a bakery and smell the wonderful baking smells.
  29. Turn the pages of my inspiration notebook.
  30. Play with ink stamps.
  31. Play! With anything that comes to hand or to mind!
  32. Write in my journal.
  33. Take myself on an Artist’s Date.
  34. Take a hot shower.
  35. Lovingly put my hair up in braids.
  36. Snuggle with my hubby.
  37. Curl up in bed with a good book.
  38. Listen to Harry Potter audiobooks.
  39. Walk in a park.
  40. Go somewhere with a beautiful view.
  41. Walk on the beach.
  42. Walk at the lake.
  43. Gather rocks at the beach.
  44. Learn to sail.
  45. Go kayaking.
  46. Plan a camping trip.
  47. Plan a weekend trip.
  48. Remember past fun trips and write down exactly what I loved about them.
  49. Make a gratitude list!
  50. Play on swings or teeter-totters with friends.
  51. Play frisbee with a friend.
  52. Find someone’s dog to borrow for walks.
  53. Bird-watch.
  54. Make a list of all my accomplishments.
  55. Make a list of all the challenges I’ve overcome.

  99. Take deep, slow breaths.
